The public art piece is in front of the McClay Library at Queen University Belfast and was created by the Breton artist Marc Didou.
It is made of bronze and is in response to the artist’s investigation of digital imaging techniques and represents the reflection of a head refracted in water and the sonic echo used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
The work of art was acquired in celebration of the centenary of Queen’s University, Belfast, 2008.
