Lord Dufferin Memorial, Belfast City Hall Gardens

This memorial was unveiled in 1906 and sculpted by Frederick Pomeroy and with help from Sir Alfred Thomas Brumwell, the architect of City Hall.  

It is dedicated to Frederick Temple the Marquess of Dufferin and Ava, who was an imperial administrator and diplomat who worked in India, Canada, Russia, Turkey, Rome and Paris.
