I am a Green Badge Belfast tour guide, public historian, local resident and podcaster. I am obsessed with the history of Belfast, my adopted home, and want to share my fascination for the subject and love of the city with others!<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Originally from London, I\u2019ve lived in Belfast since 2014.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I completed my Belfast Green Badge<\/a>  in November 2021. Since then, I have been leading tours<\/a> and am a member of the Northern Ireland Tourist Guide Association<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I also have a PhD from King\u2019s College London<\/a> that explored the history of the morale, cohesion and motivation of British soldiers during the First World War.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Since being in Northern Ireland, I have also been involved in a range of local social and medical history projects such as the Ulster University\u2019s <\/a>Belfast Epidemic<\/a> medical history learning resource, the Queen\u2019s University Belfast Living Legacies programme<\/a> and the Men Behind the Glass Project<\/a> at Campbell College Belfast. I was an Honorary Research Associate at Ulster University and am a Tutor on the QUB Open Learning programme<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I am also a member of the Belfast Titanic Society<\/a> and a Trustee of the First World War history society The Western Front Association<\/a> (WFA). <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Added to this, I\u2019m also an avid podcaster, hosting and producing three history podcasts. These are the WFA\u2019s regular Mentioned in Dispatches Podcast,<\/a> the Epidemic Belfast podcast<\/a>, and Combat Morale podcast<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n
