H. Lynn, it was completed in 1875.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Church is named after the builder James Carlisle\u2019s son to whom he built the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The church was home to one of the largest Methodist congregations in Belfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was closed in 1982 due to shrinking congregations and its location at a major interface between Catholic and Protestant populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you want to know more about the history of Belfast?
